
The Beginner Organic Gardening Program provides a year of organic gardening education and support for up to 30 participants in Wayne, Lincoln, and Cabell counties. Families receive plants, seeds, tools, fertilizer, and more to help grow, cook, and preserve food for their families. Classes are in-person only and on the second Tuesday of every month, March through October.

The Advanced Organic Gardening Program is designed for experienced gardeners who are ready to move beyond the basics and deepen their skills through advanced techniques, seasonal strategy, and regenerative practices. This program emphasizes soil health, increased productivity, problem-solving, and peer-to-peer learning to support gardeners growing for abundance, resilience, and community impact. Programming is currently being developed for the 2026 growing season. Classes are in-person only and on the second Tuesday of every month, March through October.

The Family Food Producer Program is a year-long, advanced homesteading and small farm training program designed for West Virginia families ready to take their food production to the next level. Through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and business development support, participants will learn to produce, preserve, and market vegetables, livestock products, and value-added goods while building resilient, regenerative food systems that support both their families and their communities.
